In the morning time 13^th February, like every day trains were approaching Kalupur Railway Station of Ahmedabad Mega city. The life of railway station was regular. The team member of the Child Help Desk, Dhananjibhai was on duty and on his outreach activity. At parcel office on the platform no. 1, he found a small child sitting alone in anxiety and crying. Dhanjibhai called another female team member and brough this child namely Ganesh to help desk.

Child was under fear and crying, but the trained team members handle him well. They gave him water, some food and made the atmosphere ease. Through counselling team came to know that, Ganesh was sleeping with her mother in one corner of railway platform. When he got up in morning his mother was not with him. He tried to look around but did not find. In searching his mother, he reached parcel office.

Listening him, team started searching on all platforms and announcement was repeatedly done to reach and locate Genesh’s mother. But all efforts were failed. Later Ganesh was produced to Child Welfare Committee and handed over to Child Care Institution.

Team at CCI also tried to find his mother but they too did not find anu clue. After 8 months of rescued of Ganesh, one family came forward to adopt him. Family was from Jamnagar, Gujarat and financially stable. After all legal procedures Ganesh was adopted.

Now, he is living good life with his new family.
